About The Location: 

What is the weather like in October?

The weather is typically moderate and lovely in this part of Italy during our Retreat time. Temperatures usually run between 55-66 degrees Fahrenheit or 13-19 degrees Celsius. There will be a heated pool on the property to enjoy weather permitting.

Do I need to bring a mat and props? 

We will provide high quality mats and props.

Are there tennis courts & pools? 

There are two pools (one heated) and a tennis court on the property.

How many meals are included daily?

Two large farm-to-table meals prepared by an amazing in-house Italian chef are included each day. In addition, fruit, coffee and tea is also provided daily. Brunch will be served after the morning session and dinner in the evening.

Will alcohol be served at the Villa?

With the exception of Pizza Night and our Wine Tasting Tour, alcohol is not included in the Retreat price. However, the Villa sells beautiful wine by the glass/ bottle which can be easily ordered and added to your tab.

In a double room, can I choose who I room with?

If you are traveling with a friend or loved one and would like to room together in a Double Occupancy Room, you will be given an opportunity to make that request during the check out process (this option can be easily found under the ‘Notes To Organizer’ section).

Please note that every participant must register individually and have paid their deposit in order to be paired together. We will do our very best to accommodate roommate requests.

Is there Internet/TV? 

Yes. Wifi is available inside the house and in the gardens. Each room is also equipped with TVs. If you would like to play music in your room please bring your own bluetooth speaker.

Is there laundry service?

We can offer laundry service to be picked up in the morning and delivered the following day subject to availability. Advance notice is always best. The cost is the cost of the service offered by our dry cleaning provider, plus an additional 15 Euros for pick up and delivery. We use a very reputable local dry cleaning service.

What's included in the rooms? (safe, hairdryer, towel, shampoo, soap, etc.)

What are the electrical outlets like at the Villas?

Italy operates on a 230V supply voltage and 50Hz. Plug points throughout the Villas are standard European 3 plug sockets.

Is there daily housekeeping service?  

The common areas will be cleaned daily.  The bedrooms will be cleaned with new sheets one time, mid-week. Extra linens and towels are also available upon request.

How far is the closest town and what kind of stores are open? 

The 13th century village Civitanova Alta is a 1 minute drive/ 15 minutes walk. Here you will find a piazza and coffee bar, gelateria, pharmacy, local grocery store, basic amenity store and ATM.

Where is the nearest hospital in case of an emergency?

In case of an emergency, the closest hospital location is a 5 minute drive from the Villa.

What are the closest airports to the Retreat?

Ancona Airport - 35 minute drive

Perugia Airport - 1 hour 25 minute drive

Rimini Airport -1 hour 30 minute drive

Pescara Airport - 1 hour 35 minute drive

Bologna Airport - 2 hour 30 minute drive

Rome Airport - 2 hour 45 minute drive

You can fly into many airports in Italy. We suggest Rome airport (FCO) - about 3 hour drive from the property or Bologna airport (BLQ) - about 2 1/2 hours from the Retreat property. 

What are some options for airport transfer?

Is travel insurance required? 

We strongly recommend purchasing cancellation insurance through your travel agent, or visit the following web site to compare insurers: www.worldnomads.com.

Naturally, no one books with the intention of canceling or postponing their Retreat, but unexpected things do happen, so please consider purchasing travel cancellation insurance within a few days of booking your Retreat in order to potentially qualify for a ‘cancel for any reason’ coverage. Be sure you understand the policy. Depending on the insurer, it could cover the cost of your trip and travel in case of any cancellations, delays, covid related changes, and medical emergencies. As a reminder, there are no refunds for any reason directly through M/BODY.

Visa/Passport Info? 

No, you do not need a visa to travel on our trip. You do need a valid passport. Some countries require that your passport be valid at least six months beyond the dates of your trip. Some airlines will not allow you to board if this requirement is not met. Please check current entry and exit requirements from your country to Italy prior to booking your travel.

What currency should I bring to Italy?

Euro. You can go to your local bank and bring euros with you or you can exchange money at the airport upon arrival (note: airport exchange rates are not ideal). There are ATM’s in town that are accessible as well. Once at the Villa, you will be required to put a credit card down for possible incidentals or add-ons. Prior to arrival you will be given a link to submit your credit card information, you can put any extra Retreat related costs you may choose to incur on this account. Upon check out, you can choose to pay with your credit card or with euros.

About The Retreat: 

Do I have to attend all of the classes? 

You’re encouraged to attend all classes to get the most out of your Retreat, however no participation is ever mandatory. This is your Retreat and we support any choice you make to customize your experience.

Is the price per person?

Yes, all the prices you see on the site are per person

Are afternoon activities required?

This week is about taking care of YOU. Please do what feels best and right for your body and spirit.

How can I book any add-on activities or massages appointments?

6-8 weeks prior to your arrival, you will be emailed a link to register for any additional activities or massage treatments you may wish to add. A reminder that add-ons and massage services are not included in the original Retreat total.

Is pricing in USD?

Yes, pricing listed on our website is in USD.

What is the Cancellation Policy?

M/BODY does not offer refunds for the deposit for any reason.

If you should need to cancel prior to the September 1, 2024 payment deadline, you will not be responsible for the remainder of your payment.

Should you need to cancel on or after September 1, 2024, the remainder of your payment must be paid in full.

M/BODY is not responsible for any expenses you may incur in preparation for any canceled Retreat (such as but not limited to): airline tickets, loss of work, and/or any other costs associated with preparing for your trip.

When is my remainder due?

Your full payment is due September 1, 2024 to retain your spot and deposit.

Travel Cancellation Insurance

It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation. Naturally, no one books with the intention of canceling or postponing their Retreat, but unexpected things do happen, so please consider purchasing travel cancellation insurance. Depending on the policy and conditions, travel cancellation insurance will pay for some or all cancellation fees. With most agencies, insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation.
